- Upload files. This is where you select files from your computer and upload them to PDF Hammer for editing. There are two steps to uploading files: firstly, click the Browse button to select the file, and secondly, click Upload. (Please note, the beta currently limits you to a maximum of four files. This will be increased in the future.)
- Edit pages. The row of buttons beneath the page pane let you edit pages. Use the DEL button to delete pages and the arrowed buttons to reorder them.
- Export/download files. The Export Final PDF button is how you finish your editing and download your file back to your computer.
- Pages pane. The pages pane displays a thumbnail size view of all pages from all the files you have uploaded to PDF Hammer. You select pages to edit by clicking on them in here.
- File list. The file list area shows you all the files you have uploaded that will be joined together. When you're just performing a file-combining task (and not reordering pages), files will be merged in the order they appear.
- Tooltips. The button allows you to quickly show and hide the tooltips for the essential tools you need to be familiar with.
- Advanced settings. The extra settings here enable you to enter document information (metadata) and lock your PDF files with password security.
