Securing PDF files
The security settings in PDF Hammer let you lock your PDF files so only users with the correct password can open them.
- Open PDF Hammer.
- Click Browse, select a PDF file, and then click Upload.
- Click Advanced Settings.
- Click the Require a password to open the document checkbox.
- Enter your password twice.
- Click OK.
- Click Export Final PDF.
Note. If you want to edit more than one PDF file, you must complete each editing task before starting on the next file -- if you upload more than one file at a time they will be combined together when you export and download them.
